Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
At Verdict Reviews ("we," "our," or "us"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (verdict.reviews) or use our GitHub App integration.
Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site or install the app.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 GitHub Account Data
When you sign in, we receive basic profile information from GitHub (such as your username, email address, and avatar) to create and identify your workspace.
2.2 Source Code and Pull Requests
When you install the Verdict Reviews GitHub App on a repository, we receive webhook events containing metadata about your pull requests (such as the PR title, author, and diffs). We only process the lines of code that are changed in the pull request to generate our automated review.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our services
- Analyze your pull request diffs to generate automated code reviews
- Publish review scores and cited evidence in GitHub Checks
- Process transactions and manage your subscription limits
- Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
4. AI Processing and Data Retention
We send bounded pull request diff chunks to TypeSafe Jev for scores and to the configured evidence model to check those scores and return citations. We do not use a separate model to generate code findings or inline pull request comments.
We do not allow third-party AI providers to use your proprietary source code to train their foundational models.
We retain your pull request metadata and review history in our database to display it on your dashboard. We do not permanently store your entire raw repository source code.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, and contractors who perform services for us, including:
- Cloud hosting providers (e.g., Cloudflare, Vercel)
- Payment processors (Merchant of Record)
- AI inference APIs (e.g., Anthropic, Google)
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information and code. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data. You can instantly revoke our access to your repositories at any time by uninstalling the Verdict Reviews app directly from your GitHub settings.
