1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Verdict Reviews ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and us regarding your access to and use of our GitHub App and website (verdict.reviews).

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the services.

2. Description of Services

Verdict Reviews provides automated AI code review services that help developers understand their pull requests. Our services include:

  • Automated pull request diff analysis
  • Merge-readiness, risk, and diff-quality scores with citations
  • GitHub Checks integration
  • Dashboard analytics for pull request volume

3. Account and Installation

3.1 Account Creation

To use our services, you must sign in using your GitHub account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub credentials and the repositories you grant us access to.

3.2 GitHub App Installation

By installing the Verdict Reviews GitHub App on your repositories or organization, you grant us permission to read your source code, pull request metadata, and post checks on your behalf, strictly as defined in the GitHub App permissions scope.

4. Subscription and Billing

We offer plans with monthly review quotas. Quota usage is based on the additions and deletions in pull request diffs reviewed by the service. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription through our merchant of record.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. No refunds are provided for partial months.

5. Data and Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your code and data. By using Verdict Reviews, you grant us a temporary, limited license to process your code solely for the purpose of generating automated reviews. We do not use your proprietary source code to train our foundational language models.

All content, features, and functionality of our dashboard and services are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

We use artificial intelligence to generate reviews. You understand that automated scores and evidence may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. You should always use your own engineering judgment before merging code. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes. Your continued use of the services following such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
